Tuesday showers of blessings come from Colossians 4:2-4 "Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving, praying together for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds, that I may reveal it as I ought to speak."
Scripture is simply saying, devote yourself to prayer, with an alert mind and thankful heart. GOD does not want prayer to be an event taking place only at certain times. But prayer must be an ongoing dialogue with the LORD. We must also be watchful meaning that prayer demands ongoing attention. Prayer is not about presenting shopping list type of prayer where you ask and ask and keep on asking. Prayer is time to Glorify GOD, Praise HIS Holy Name, Worship HIM, Exalt HIM etc. When we understand prayer from this perspective we will have a thankful heart. Amen.
