Wednesday showers of blessings come from 1 Thessalonians 2:2 "For this cause we also thank GOD without ceasing, that when you received from us the word of the message of GOD, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of GOD, which also works in you who believe."
When Paul remembered the Thessalonians Christians, he felt encouraged to keep preaching. He expressed his unceasing gratitude to the way the Thessalonian Christians had responded to the Gospel. They opened their hearts with faith when he preached to them and they accepted GOD'S Word as it actually is and not like the word of men. The Word of GOD had taken hold of their lives and was bearing Spiritual fruit. As for Paul, he could not stop giving thanks for such an experience with them. Let me challenge you as well this morning: as a hearer, does your response to the Gospel, and your faith encourage your Pastor to keep on preaching this Good News. When your Pastor remembers you, does he/she express unceasing gratitude to the LORD? My prayer is that the HOLY SPIRIT enables you to lead a life worthy GOD'S Glory. Amen.
