Thursday showers of blessings come from 1 Thessalonians 2:8 "Even so, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not the Good News of God only, but also our own souls, because you had become very dear to us."
Thessalonians were so precious to Apostle Paul and his missionary team to the point where they were not only willing to share the Gospel only but even their own lives. What does this statement mean? His expression mirrors GOD'S Self-Sacrificing Love for us in John 3:16 "For GOD so love the world that HE gave HIS Only SON, so that whoever believe in HIM will not perish but have Eternal Life" When JESUS said, love your neighbor as yourself, this is what Paul demonstrated. Can you also do the same to others. It's sad that some are failing to mirror GOD'S Self-Sacrificing Love to their own family. My prayer for you is that you start from within and move out. Amen.
