Dam construction displaces apostolic sect members

Murewa: Residents at Gwasira village in Murewa west have appealed to Mutumwa Momberume Johane Marange sect to help the 250 adherents affected by the construction of Kunzvi dam through a memo dated 31 May 2022.

   The letter read: "We are a 250 family affected by the construction of the dam and have no way to go. Our worry is, we remain at risk with elevated dust by the caterpillars when moving and tunneling. The earth is affecting ouf normal breathing then cough and sneezing upon inhaling endlessly.

   The memo also said, they once been promised to be moved at Macheke bh Murewa District Administrator, but when approached he said, the Council have no enough space of displaced as sect rather squeeze in other villages if space permit. 

Then the group went further saying, we are a patriotic citizens embracing development and devolution whilst are working towards vission 2030.
