[6]Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
Find strength in the Lord
I believe David also strengthened himself by recalling those times when God met and helped him through challenges.He would then overlay his own stories of life and faithfulness.
We can strengthen ourselves by renewing our mind, led by the Holy Spirit in order to know and understand God's will and destiny for our lives.When we focus on Him, and what he has done for us in our lives , we can move from strength to strength no matter our circumstances.
Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ help us to find strength in you in all our situations, Amen.
