Friday showers of blessings come from 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 "May the LORD make you to increase and abound in love towards one another, and towards all men, even as we also do towards you, to the end HE may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our GOD and FATHER at the coming of our LORD JESUS all HIS saints."
Paul and other Apostles had demonstrated love to Thessalonians but now he makes a prayer that the LORD increases Thessalonians love to another level and abound in love towards one another in their Church and further than that. Their love should be extended to other people outside of their church as well. The focus should go wider. What Paul is praying for Thessalonians also applies to us. Our love for other people should go beyond biological family and church family to even strangers. May the LORD open our minds and enable us to open in the matter of love. Amen.
