Jude 1
23. 'Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment.
Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.'
We are all given responsibilities to help other people know who God is.
We need to be preachers of God's love, righteousness and the peace which fills them after embracing Him (through Jesus Christ), as your Creator. We are as well advised to do this (preaching) with caution. This caution means you don't have to boast about how you turned to accept God as your Saviour.
It's not that you are better than the person you feel needs to be directed to know God more, it's just that you are expected to carry out the duty assigned to you by the Creator. You are the medium through which God communicates His message of reconciliation.
You also need to be cautious as God doesn't expect you to fall into the same sin which the person you are helping to rescue is suffering from. Don't pity someone's disobedience, be open minded to focus on showing them God's love and patience as He looks up to everyone to be saved.
Be a willing instrument designed by God to cause others to be reconciled to Him by preaching with sincerity the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Since God mankind in His own image and character, (Genesis 1:26), there is no chance for making excuses as on the Day of Judgement, God will count on this, (not helping others to be saved)! Good morning believer in Christ Jesus?
