Submit yourself to God

 Philippians 4

6. "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done."

God made a distinct selection of man who He made into the likeness and character of Himself, doing all that in the name of Jesus, (Genesis 1:26-28, 2:7). Man was given the authority and power to rule over all things, and this is the reason why we find man running the show and subduing all things on earth (land) in the sky (air) and in the water (seas/oceans). Man was given the knowledge and wisdom to understand how most if not all God made creatures or plants behave, which knowledge and wisdom he (mankind) uses to cause them (creatures, plants, etc) to replicate. Man gives awesome accounts of how creatures, plants, etc, survive in addition to having an appreciation of how they can be turned into different uses for mankind's survival. Imagine man flying aeroplane in the sky, driving vehicle on earth and steering boat or ship in the seas and oceans where there are other God made creatures which I believe also desire to do the same but weren't given the same power to do so! That is why Paul is pointing us to 'pray about everything', and 'thank God for all things He has done to you' and me. You are who you are because of the grace given unto you by God when He sacrificed His only begotten Son, (1 Corinthians 15:10), so that those who believe in Him (Jesus Christ) are called by His name and together with Him are known as sons and daughters of God. In one of his scripture books, Paul talks about the desire to know how Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, (Philippians 3:10). Without praying about it, it's difficult for man to be conformed to what Jesus accomplished. Our obedience to following Jesus Christ's faith in the Father is impossible to secure unless we adopt His (Jesus) lifestyle. When we pray about everything, we are submitting to God that without the power of the Holy Sprit, it is impossible for us to overcome sin. Unless we ask for anything we need from God, we always do things in wrong ways as He knew us all before being conceived in our mother's womb, (Jeremiah 1:5), and He long established the good plans for each one of us, (Jeremiah 29:11-13). As you wake up, go about doing whatever you want to do, or just resting and doing nothing every day or every moment, make it a habit to pray and ask God about it. Whatever you see, hear or feel, know that God is the One who made it to be like that. The so called witch doctors always claim to have 'supernatural' powers which they use to do various miracles, but when I think deeply about that, I always wonder who the original designer of that is, despite that more often than not, that power has been converted to edify the devil's (satan's) works. Let us give honour to God in the name of Jesus Christ as He wonderfully made us (mankind) into His own image and character that we are able to rule over all things He made. Submit yourself to God and everything else you desire will follow. Good morning believer in Christ Jesus?
