[18]in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Be thankful
God calls us to a life of thankfulness regardless of the situation in which we are. Sometimes things in life are bad but it is in these moments that God asks us to thank Him in any way.
It is the will of God that we should thank Him. Gratitude is an expression of our freedom that comes from God and God alone.
Prayer
Lord Jesus help us to engage in ongoing rejoicing and ceaseless prayer, Amen.
