In a bid to reach more Ugandans with the gospel, The Jesus Film has been translated into Rufumbira language, as spoken by multitudes who live in Kisoro District, among other areas in the South-Western part of Uganda.
The translated film, launched by LIFE Ministry Uganda in partnership with the body of Christ in Kisoro, is a video representation of the Gospel according to Luke, telling the story of Jesus Christ.
Over 170+ souls gave their lives to Jesus Christ when an altar call was made at its first showing at Mayor’s Gardens in Kisoro Town on 25th June 2022, proving that indeed the development is an effective tool for evangelism, discipleship and church planting.
Reports show that it is now less than 865 languages away from being translated into every documented tongue in the world with 50,000 or more speaker. So far, the Jesus Film has been translated in 32 languages in Uganda alone.
