Monday showers of blessings come from1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 "But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you. For you yourselves know well that the day of the LORD comes like a thief in the night."
Paul continues with his subject of rapture. He reminds them of what they knew literally. It appears that the matters of future confronting Paul are common to every generation. People are curious about the future and has numerous questions about the LORD'S return. This is what Paul was addressing among Thessalonians. Today's generation, in our context, our fears, worries lie in the future. What will happen, to me, my family and my belongings? This is what Paul is bringing to our attention, that, we mustn't worry because we face daily challenges. The Day of the LORD is certain. All we need is to keep our faith in HIM so that when it comes, we will be ready to go. Looking forward to the LORD'S Day should be our daily endeavour. Amen.
