Matthew 5:9
[9]Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
Peacemakers
The peacemakers are called children of God simply because they have been given new hearts through Jesus and are reflecting the peace of God as they are made more like Him.
Peacemaking calls for reconciliation when others have wronged them.The peacemaker is quick to repent when they have wronged others.Christ made this peace by the blood of his cross.His death in our place on the cross paid for our sins.
Prayer
Heavenly Father we pray that we become peacemakers in our lives in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
