Sometimes it’s better to mine a belt yielding 10grams/tonne but the belt is solid and consistent, than mining a belt yielding 20grams/tonne but the belt is very erratic ,always ”cuts” and is unpredictable.
For immediate gratification the 20grams/tonne belt might look appealing,but for long term growth of the mine it’s not ideal especially if you are doing underground mining and if you do not know how to mine such belts properly.
Don’t only concentrate on high grade when looking for a claim or a belt to mine in your claim , also take into account If the belt is consistent in its geology and gold grade.
