Exodus 14
14. ''The lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
There are things which everyone must look back and reflect on how they triumphed. I mean those glaring and hard to imagine problems which make someone to lose their peace of mind, mutual relationships, friendships and any other social interactions. When one is swallowed up by temptation, they are likely to be isolated from people who are well meaning in their life. Any disconnection from a significant social interaction normally causes uncontrollable sadness, malfunction of thoughts and this may create internal emotional volatility (self hatred, apprehension, anger, feelings of disgust and shame, etc). These experiences come about when someone doesn't know whom to handover their situation. The Lord, Jesus Christ, appeared as a cloud during the day and as a pillar of fire during the night while the Israelites journeyed from Egypt to their promised land. Analyzing this brings thoughts about the Omni presence of Jesus Christ around us all the time! This is a spiritual assurance we have God's protection every time all the time. But when the problem appears to be insurmountable, we are more likely to think the world is collapsing over us and we lose faith in God's providence of protection. As doubt sets in, we normally start to question if God's power is really powerful. Said in another way, it is like handing over God's authority to satan! The reason for Christians to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), must be practiced when we are experiencing serious attacks from satan and his cohort of demons. Today's scripture is clearly comforting us to remain calm while we face problems as God fights for us, and our steadfast faith in Him will render us victorious. Trust God every time all the time, He is not like human beings that He will change His plans. The praying without ceasing spiritual strategy heeds us to cast our trust in Jesus Christ who gives full protection wherever we are. This is the same cloud which covers us during the day as we go about doing our businesses, and it is the same pillar of fire which shines before us during our night journeys (that is those things which happen to us when we least expect them). Know whom to handover your problems when you don't have idea about how to deal with them. Be a prayer warrior and trust God all the time, He is the solution needed in difficult times. May the peace, love and mercy of God comfort you as you wallow along your faith journey. Whatever problem you come across will NEVER be greater than God's power.
