 Believers in God rule over everything when a people takes a stance to worship Him 

'Esther 8

17. In every province and city, wherever the king’s decree arrived, the Jews rejoiced and had a great celebration and declared a public festival and holiday. And many of the people of the land became Jews themselves, for they feared what the Jews might do to them.'

A nation seems to be cursed when it allows other people to call the shots while the citizens watch without defending their God given right to run the affairs of their country. Before Xerxes decree, Haman had used his position power to have all the Jews destroyed. The Esther call for fasting brought surprise turn of events. Haman didn't know that the medicine he had prepared for the annihilation of other people was to become a weapon for his destruction. The interesting thing in this Biblical story of Haman and his tools for killing others is not his death, it is the wholesale destruction of a cult system. Usually when God is accepted as Creator of All things, it is not just those who worship idols who are destroyed, even the idols themselves are completely destroyed. The same thing happens immediately when someone gives their life to Jesus Christ. Whatever was a problem before allowing Jesus to take control of one's life, just the shout to say, 'I love you Jesus' will stir a shift in the person's spiritual and physical realms. One begins to see his or he situation in a hopeful way, and joy replaces sorrow. The manner in which we worship and love God including living according to His will, is significantly related to impact it will have when other people give up idol worship, thus more and more people renounce their ungodly worshipping systems. God, in His own right as Creator and Ruler of All things, had strongly spelt out how jealous He is when the people He created in His own image and character turn to worship and praise idols and spirit mediums. You may have your own views about today's scripture and how it has been expounded, the bottom line is idol worship causes a people to be detested by God, and the accompanying result is living under a curse. If you are a real believer in Christ Jesus, take up the Esther stance to plead with the authorities to denounce idol worship. You are the force which God has appointed at this time to influence authorities to cause people to turn to God. While Esther kept her nationality as a secret (Esther 4:14), when God's time to allow all people to worship Him came, even those who were of different nationalities gave up their national status, meaning, any demonic powers are those who worship God.
