"GOD'S WISDOM EDIFIES AND STRENGTHENS YOU"
2 Timothy 3:16-17; "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2Timothy 2:15; "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." It is important to understand the fact that we are no longer under the Old Covenant. But under the New Covenant Of Grace. Romans 6:14; "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." Rightly dividing means to have the wisdom and discernment to understand the difference between the Old Covenant and The New Covenant Of Grace. Proverbs 26:1-5; 1. As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool. 2. As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come. 3. A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back. 4. Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. 5. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit." In this passage, it seems the Bible is contradicting itself. The answer to verse four is found in Luke 20:1-8. The answer to verse five is found in Luke 20:20-25. Luke 20:1-8, 20-25; 1. And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders. 2. And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? 3. And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: 4. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? 5. And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say,From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? 6. But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. 7. And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. 8. And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. 20. And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. 21. And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: 22. Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? 23. But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? 24. Shew me a penny, Whose image ans superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's. 25. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's." Jesus is the vocabulary of the Bible. These people were fools because they didn't believe Jesus. He answered a fool according to his folly in verses 20-25. Proverbs 4:5-9; 5. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8. Exalt her,and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee." We are so blessed. When we encounter adversities in our lives, we should use the wisdom of God to help us. His wisdom is wonderful. Proverbs 9:10; "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." James 1:2-5; 2. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." God's Word is perfect; He is perfect. There is much joy in God's Word and His wisdom.
Hallelujah!!!!!!!!
