Monday showers of blessings come from James 1:2-4 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
When bad things happen to us like sickness, death, hunger, and so on, we must count it all joy. James is giving a message of encouragement and spiritual wisdom that we should not give up but rather give thanks for the trials of our life, for through those trials, we strengthen and confirm our faith in GOD. Perseverance is seen only when the faith is tested. For you to count it joy, you must look at any situation from a positive perspective. Amen.
