[14] Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it . Then he went to the temple and spread it before the Lord.
Spread it before the Lord
One of the weapons used by the devil is to inflict fear upon the children of God. He uses letters of warning at our workplaces, doctor's reports that we have incurable diseases and many others. Hezekiah received a letter from Sennacherib , threatening his safety and that of the whole Judah.
Let us learn from Hezekiah. He took the letter to the temple and spread it before the Lord. What news has been causing you fear and panic? Spread it before the Lord. He will never ignore such letters!
Prayer Point
Father God, I spread all the negative letters , words and reports written against me before you. May you respond to them in the ink of the blood of Jesus! Amen.
