The Spirit Of God In Us

 1 John 4

13. 'And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.'

This declaration can be well understood when a believer starts off from Genesis 2:7. First, any believer in God has to know His intention about why He chose human (in fact man, meaning any human being) to be like Him in both image (Jesus Christ was brought to the earth in human body form) and character - Genesis 1:26-27. Unfortunately I can testify that there are times man chooses to do the wrong things God says violate the commands He gave man in the garden of Eden. There are many times we are carried away (mesmerized) by what the devil brings into our lives. Yes, there are such encounters with the devil which cause us to close our conscience and choose to run with the devil's promotion of sinning. Sticking and fixing one's attention on things of this world which are devoid of God's commandments is clear evidence that we are far from being reconciled to Him. I sometimes feel weaknesses in my attempt to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ when I know what I will be doing is under the influence of sin. This today's chapter urges us to continue to put our trust in Jesus Christ whenever we face any temptations. Let's pray for one another, and pray for ourselves so that our worldly and fleshly desires are replaced by the love of God. If we continue to sin, we are denying that God has sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to reconcile us back to Himself. Sin's deception seems to increase in controlling man from doing the will of God, and this is the moment we are supposed to strengthen our focus on praying and trusting God to help us with the power of the Holy Sprit. Are you conscious of the power of satan controlling you? Then join me in morning prayers (02:00 a.m. - 03:30 a.m.) to drive away satan's influences on our lives. And remember, it's not easy to live Christ Jesus like life among sinners when you consciously know what you are doing violates God's commandments. This is a battle everyone must win against the enemy, satan. And no one has ever seen satan except in the form of human objects satan presents himself to us from time to time. Let us continue to do the good things God says pleases Him for us to be received by Him in His heavenly kingdom, Galatians 6:9. Join me today in rededicating our lives to Jesus Christ, and there is never a time that is too late for us to leave a life of sinning. Good morning believer in Christ Jesus?
