Wednesday showers of blessings come from James 1:6-8 "But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the LORD; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does"
James encourages us to ask wisdom and even other things from GOD who gives generously. In that same thought he encourages us to have faith and no doubt. Faith compels you to pray but doubt later comes in. If you ask and doubt, you will not receive from the LORD. Why? You are considered a double minded person. The state of double mind hinders us from receiving all that we ask from GOD. Sometimes GOD holds back what we ask because of our doubts. Common human weakness: when you pray, immediately you start planning how GOD must give you. Is that not doubting the ability of GOD to provide? Brethren, let us learn to exercise our faith by asking from GOD and leave everything in HIM to respond accordingly. Amen.
