_Luke 8:47_
_Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately._
*A contrite heart,God will not despise*
The woman with an issue of blood had lost all hope in man because they had given her false promises & even made her situation worse. Her last option became Jesus Christ. She went down behind Him in order to touch the hem of His garment.
It takes a person who comes to Jesus and makes Him their only option and hope to receive healing. When we have other options, we are unable to bring a broken and contrite heart before God. When we doubt the ability of God, we cannot humble ourselves before Him enough to touch His hem or bring His heart to have compassion over us. Let us let go of the failures we have had in the past & leave our pride outside the door. He will accept us and make us whole again.
*Prayer*
Lord I come before you in humility and with a broken and contrite heart. Please accept my plea and address my situation as you are my only option..Amen
