Tuesday showers of blessings come from Genesis 22:1-2 "Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.”
Abraham was a man of faith. He believed in GOD and it was credited to him as righteous. We also learn that he was not only a man of faith but of action too. GOD gave Abraham a task which was hard to do. But we see Abraham executing the difficult task. He did as was commanded without grumbling, reasoning, pushed, begged etc. When GOD requested this from Abraham, HE only wanted to see the depth of Abraham's faith. Faith tested. Sometimes, GOD allows certain tough times in our journey of life as a way of testing our faith. No matter how difficult is the task, endure it and keep on moving. Genuine faith survives the test. Amen.
