Be the person who is accepted by God and fears to do evil things. This is a choice which brings eternal benefits.
Acts of the Apostles 10
35. 'In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.'
God is not selective but man is. Man hates those who do good things, those who do anything which seems to be better than them when compared with their perceptions. Man thrives to be good even when the opposite is conspicuous. In today's scripture verse, it's clear God is not a favourite Creator. He loves everything He created or made, however, He has placed man on the highest position by giving authority over all things He created or made, (Genesis 1:27). Man has to make deliberate commitment to in turn love and worship God, which is a standard He uses to call anyone daughter or son. Hey, how do you feel when you hear someone expresses that they only believe in their family ancestral spirit medium? What occupies your thoughts when you hear of nations which kill anyone who preaches the name of Jesus Christ (Yes, there are places where people who believe in God are persecuted or killed, and I am a witness of having lived in such places!)? What do you think about how different people in their various national contexts define their being who they are? I have read a number of science literature materials, but I have failed to understand what science says is the origin of man! I am convinced by what the Word of God says regarding man's cause of being and the power behind his existence, (Genesis 2:7). You could be the one who does what is right before God, and you as well are known for being compassionate about the welfare of the less privileged, God is seeing you, and He will reward you for all the goodness and love you are showing to others, (Galatians 6:9). Be like Paul who wanted to find out the power God used to raise Jesus Christ from the dead, (Philippians 3:10), and your hunger to do good is not a misplaced feeling. As you read today's scripture verse, feel that 'divine sense' that God accepts you because of the good things you are doing. Let not the good things you are doing cause you to praise yourself, let God, through Jesus Christ, qualify you as being compassionate. We didn't choose God, but God chose us to be like Him, so my dear believer in Christ Jesus, be a follower of God's Word and do what it says, (James 1:22). Good morning?
