You will never know where you want to be next unless God reveals His planned purpose for you
Jeremiah 33
3. 'Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.'
God's ways are not our ways. The way we think about ourselves or others is not the same way God thinks about us.
The way we see ourselves or others is not the same way God sees us. These statements sound funny to some but they are facts and are divine statements which are usually refuted by those who claim to be more learned. When I heard someone preaching about this scripture I am sharing today, I have had a flight of thoughts racing in my mind.
You know, there are times when you can't resist the Word of God ministering to you by the power of the Holy Sprit.
I want to tell you this doesn't happen to the born-agains only, it happens to every person God made and created to be like Him. Now, listen to this; when you are receiving information from another person, who is the first referent of the message conveyed in the communication loop?
We normally believe the person who is conveying the message as the primary source, not realizing the power behind the cause of the information to be conveyed, in addition to the purpose for which the conveyance is being executed.
I also know it's rather harder for someone to believe that God is the one who makes everything work in or for everybody's life to be what it is or who someone is, (Romans 8:28).
Yes, when you face adversities, it's God preparing you for your next divine destination. If man had real power, s/he would operate knowing what is going to happen next.
Unfortunately no one knows what is going to happen next! Imagine, someone training to be a doctor will end up being a gospel musician.
This tells us how much we don't know about what will become of us. I can go on and on talking to you about how great and mighty our God is.
The impact of today's scripture verse, if not we'll thought of, is the resultant separation mankind experiences.
We deny God as the source of everything which makes us who we are, and we give more credit to people who are ushered to us by God more than we must do to God. I want to encourage you to base everything you do on God.
Don't stop at praising the person who delivers good news to you, go beyond that person and give all glory to God in the name of Jesus Christ, and see how much God is going to respond to your circumstances or situations.
It's God who knows what you want or need, for He says He has made good plans for you, plans to prosper you.....(Jeremiah 29:11-13). You can only prosper if you are like the person who Jesus Christ described as His 'sheep which listens and hears His voice', John 10:27.
It only takes one to hear Jesus Christ's voice for God to reveal what He wants you to do. Believe in God, worship Him only, pray all the time and preach His gospel to others. And God who is rich in His wisdom and knowledge will reveal His purpose for you.
This Saturday is not the same Saturday you are used to, it's a Saturday for a complete turn around for your life if you allow God to reveal His purpose for you while you take a back seat, giving God the responsibility to guide you. Good afternoon believer in Christ Jesus?
