Let Go Of Rebellious Mindset

 What will persuade you to believe God if you won't let go of rebellious mindset? 

Luke 16

31. “But Abraham said, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

The great rift between those who have faith in Jesus Christ and those Anti Christ has continued to escape a solution to close it because the worldly riches put a lot of people in stupor. We are more attracted to putting more attention on earthly riches than we invest more time in reading the Word of, which is the transformative catalyst for us to be saved from eternal suffering. The interesting thing is we brag about the things we have, but hardly do we ever think about who made those things to be what they are for us! Everything God has made or created is for the purposes of glorifying Him. I have heard of some singers lamenting both Lazarus' earthly and heavenly life, that he lived a pauper lifestyle here on earth and in heaven, and I think no one has ever thrown analytical lens to lyrics. To my surprise, I have never read scripture which says Lazarus was found being taken care of by Abraham, what I have read is that Lazarus was seen walking with God's most loved friend, Abraham. If we are not persuaded by the divine fact that Jesus Christ came to reconcile us through the death He endured, whom else will we listen when the gospel of repentance is being preached? Don't look down on those who are calling on the name of Jesus Christ, for theirs is the purpose to help leave your sinful attitude and behaviours. That is the only known way of calling everyone back to God. Someone people are just pu off when they get challenged while preaching the Word of God. There are people out there who will ask you whether you carry God's instruction or power to preach to them, while others will ridicule you for showing off to be more pious than them. That is what today's scripture is showing us, we don't have to give up telling others about God's love, righteousness and grace, for we are His anointed instruments for bringing salvation to those who are in darkness. When you have seen God's light, don't let Satan manipulate you by directing your attention to earthly riches as opposed to doing good things which give glory to the name of God, through Jesus Christ. Above all things, everything works for good to those who love and are loved by God, Romans 8:28. In second Peter, chapter 3, we read about how Lot was not persuaded by immorality of the people of Gomorrah and Sodom, and God saved Him from destruction. Be the Lazarus of today for you to be found walking under the bossom of Abraham, choosing to live your life by faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible carries divine messages of God intended to save us from drawing toward suffering when hell time comes about.
