*Preserve your blessings*
There are times when we relax after we receive our gift from God. We will have travailed like a woman in labour and been expectant and courageous. But then when the blessing comes, we fall back into a pattern of relaxation. We stop watching & praying, we forget to be thankful for the grace that God bestowed upon us that made us persevere for as long as it took for the gift to come.
Let us not relax after we receive what we have been praying for, lest we cause our gift to become meaningless. We must guard jealously the gift of salvation that God gave us. We must watch over the spiritual gifts that God has given us or we may lose them and have all the effort go to waste. After God fulfills our prayers,let us rejoice and thank Him then immediately go back into watchfulness so that we do not give the devil the chance to steal from us.
*Prayer*
Help me oh God to be alert at all times. I am thankful for your blessings and ask for the grace to be a good steward of those blessings in Jesus name..Amen
