Titus 2:11-12

[11]For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,

[12]teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

True salvation

We have been given the grace to receive salvation through the death & resurrection of Christ.There are many who preach the gospel but amidst the preaching of the true and risen Christ, evil has infiltrated the body of Christ. Some will shy away from the true message of salvation and preach only what is pleasing to the ear. We must not give ear to any doctrine that does not encourage us to shun sin and  to turn to God completely.

Living according to the will of God is required of anyone who wishes to follow Christ. We cannot mix worshipping God and serving the flesh. The spirit has to rise above the flesh, denying the lust of the world and staying focused on Christ. 

Prayer

I believe in the grace of Jesus Christ that has brought salvation to mankind. Help me to hold on to the grace that urges me to live a holy life so that I will remain untainted by the world..Amen.
