Know God's Purpose

 Live out God's purpose for you.

Don't be cowed into sin because someone has wronged you. Instead, pray that God will transform the person to experience His righteousness and holiness. Forgive the person who intentionally seeks to hurt you, for this is God's way of showing that you are His chosen one (2 Peter 3:9). Internalize the habit of forgiving no matter how hard someone hurts you. There are those who are living with hurtful experiences because of what others have done to them, for instance, living in a promiscuous marriage relationship. Remember it is not you who is promiscuous, it is the other partner. All you need to do is to ask God, who is rich in forgiving, to keep you uncorrupted in the same way He did to Lot while he was living in Sodom (2 Peter 2:7-8). It is true you have been hurt by several people, most of them are well connected to you. But one thing to remember is, God is doing it to equip you with the power to forgive and to separate you from the evil ones. Don't feel ridiculed when many people are doing wrong things though they are praised for doing such wrong deeds. Count the number of times you got hurt by people and pray that they be forgiven, as Jesus forgave everyone by taking our sinful nature. This is the one thing (being forgiving) which causes so many people to fail God's test for being faithful, but get this injunction from James 1:2-3. Forgive, and let all hurtful emotions clear away from causing you to live with perpetual mental torture. Somebody is enjoying to see you living a miserable life, and be aware that when you fret about what someone is doing on you, it is your health which is being destroyed. You lose nothing by ignoring the wrongs done by ungodly people, (2 Peter 2:7-8). You are on the correct and right path to eternity. Romans 12

17. 'Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.
