Wednesday showers of blessings come from Genesis 24:2-4 "He said to the chief servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had, “Put your hand under my thigh. I want you to swear by the LORD , the GOD of Heaven and the GOD of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living, but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac.”
Everything rise and fall in marriage. Abraham was concerned about the marriage of Isaac. He got involved in the woman his son Isaac would marry. The secret about marriage is that, it comes with your success or your downfall. It comes with regrets or joy of your life. Abraham saw beyond just person to live with. Let's look at this Scripture from another angle of a person who is a marriage type. You ask boys, they say there are no right girls, and the girls say the same, there are no boys. I want to challenge you Youth: do not look at others, look at yourself: are you a type of person who possess certain characteristics which brings joy, peace and success in marriage? Parents, what type of children are you raising, are they the Canaanite type or the recommended Mesopotamian women? Today no Amen. Let me hear from you: what can we really do to save marriages? Amen
