Monday showers of blessings come from Genesis 25:20,21&26
"........ and Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram and sister of Laban the Aramean. Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant n.... ........ 26 ".......... Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them."
Isaac married at 40 and 20 years later, they were blessed with two boys. In these 20 years, Scripture tells us that, Isaac prayed for his wife because she had a challenge to bear children. This was true love. How many of us, when your wife or husband is going through difficult times pray for each other? Not only to pray for having children but any difficulty or challenges your partner could be going through. It's sad that many marriages collapsed because some partners had conditions that could not allow them to have children and some were going through a lot but could not get support. Some end up in divorce and others committing suicide. May the LORD give us the heart to feel for each other, support each other and pray for each other. Amen.
