Monday showers of blessings come from Genesis 26:34-35 "When Esau was forty years old, he married Judith daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and also Basemath daughter of Elon the Hittite. They were a source of grief to Isaac and Rebekah.
When Isaac was 40 years, Abraham gave guidance in his son's marriage. He did not let him marry local girls because of so many reasons. When Esau was 40 years, Isaac did not bother to guide his son on marriage. He married wrong and his marriage affected his parents. Scripture reveals to us that Esau's wife was a source of grief to Isaac and Rebecca. I am learning the importance of guiding our children in marriage. If you let them just marry without guidance, you attract grief, sorrow upon yourself. Parents may not choose for their children but they may guide them to marry right especially people of the same faith, your type in many ways etc. Amen.
