_Judges 20:18_
_Then the children of Israel arose and went up to the house of God to inquire of God. They said, “Which of us shall go up first to battle against the children of Benjamin?” The Lord said, “Judah first!”_
*Praise must go up first*
Judah means 'praise'! Whenever a situation arises, remember to praise God first. The walls of Jericho fell down just from praises, therefore the walls closing you in will definitely give way. Praise should not be relegated to certain times of the day or night. Offering praise must be a continual gesture. Stop magnifying your problems constantly. Instead of complaining about how painful your situation is or how unfair it all is, lift up praises to God and to His ability to address your problems.
Magnifying the problem will only exalt the devil and believers have no business making the devil happy. Make him sorrowful by letting him listen in on your exaltation of your God. God is able and will faithfully come through for you when you continue to call His attention to you by talking about Him in every situation you face.
*Prayer*
Forgive me Lord for magnifying the devil by constantly talking about my problems. Help me to begin to affirm your goodness and power in praise from now on. Amen
