_John 6:2_
_Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased._
*Why do we follow Christ?*
The people who heard of Jesus Christ followed Him everywhere because of the miracles he performed. Among them were those who required healing, others had heard about the provision of food and yet others wanted to hear Him speak because He spoke with power.
When we were yet sinners, Christ died so that we may be reconciled back to God. Are we still in the business of soul winning for Christ or has our focus shifted to other purposes? When He comes, will He find us still holding on to the faith which was once given to the saints or will we be found having our own righteousness? For revival and restoration to take place, we must go back to examine the purpose of Christ's coming and our part in it today.
*Prayer*
Take us back Oh Lord to the mission of the gospel because it is for salvation that you came to earth. May we be reconciled with you and do our part to bring many to Christ. Amen
