At the workshop on “unpacking the Legal Frameworks on Gender-Based Violence”, the Humanitarian Services and Diakonia Director, Maria Tendai Dendere presented the work of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches.
In her presentation, she had this to say, “The work of ZCC covers the Conversation of Hope and Actions of Hope as the main pillars.
We are doing a lot of work under these main pillars to fight various socio-economic challenges in our country including gender-based violence.
There are many women and men in different parts of the country who may commits gender based violence unknowingly. Let’s go back and teach them to reduce gender based violence”- Zimbabwe Council Of Churches
