Friday showers of blessings come from John 21:12-14 "Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead."
When CHRIST resurrected, HE revealed HIMSELF to HIS Disciples at the time they were fruitless in their fishing activity. JESUS commanded them to come and have breakfast with HIM. The same JESUS who invited the first followers to come for breakfast is still inviting you the follower of today, to come and have breakfast with HIM. Take note of something important here: JESUS enabled the Disciples to catch fish, then JESUS prepared fish caught by Disciples, Now HE invited them to have breakfast with HIM. Each one has a responsibility in this matter. Let us be likewise. Amen.
