Zimbabwe Council of Churches Independence Statement

 As Zimbabwe celebrated its 43rd year of Independence yesterday, the Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) is taking this opportunity to take stock of the nation’s achievements for the past 43 years as well as envision the Zimbabwe We Want. As we envision the Zimbabwe We Want, the Church is convinced that we can leverage our achievements since Independence, our human capital, our strong culture, our hospitality, the new Constitution, our history of unity in war of liberation, and God given natural resources to attain unity, peace, justice and prosperity.
