Monday showers of blessings come from Exodus 18:13-27. "The next day Moses took his seat to serve as judge for the people,....... from morning till evening. When his father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people,........... Why do you alone sit as judge, while all these people stand around you from morning till evening?”......... Moses said. “Because the people come to me to seek God’s will...... Jetro replied, “What you are doing is not good............. .But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you......... Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said."
Moses was doing the right thing in a wrong way. How many right things have you done with good intentions wrongly. A lot of people does this mistakes. Can you try to identify right things which you are doing wrongly. GOD would speak with Moses on everything else but for this one, HE did not speak a word. But later HE was gracious to use Jetro. This teaches us to give an ear to advises from other people. Tirege kuva vana mazivazvose. No matter what's your status you need give an ear to others. GOD gave us brain to use, making the right decision. If you are lazy to use the brain, the load will kill you. GOD is a team builder. Delegate your duties to the right people not eveeyone. And you will see great results. Amen.
Blessings and Shalom
