*Exodus 8:15*
_But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, as the Lord had said._
*When there is relief*
Relief is defined as removal or lightening of something painful, troubling, burdensome, or dangerous. In life we are looking for relief from various situations. We want relief from difficult relationships. We want relief from the difficulties in the economy. We want relief from troubling health. We want relief from situations we have brought upon ourselves and we want relief from situations brought upon us by others. We need relief from even situations that "life" has brought upon us. But the question is what happens and how do we act/react when we have gotten the relief. Do we worship the Lord and give reverence to the source of all relief? Do we believe that it was all because of us that we have gotten the relief? Do we boast of our connections in getting the relief? Do we think it is because of our money that we got relief? Do we seek to listen and understand what God is telling us in getting the relief? When we get relief, may we see and importantly listen to God. God bless
*Prayer*
Dear God, we are so sorry that we have hardened our hearts after you have given us relief. Forgive us Father, we have forsaken and abandoned you in our time of relief. Help us to retrace our steps back to you so that we may hear you speak into our lives.
