Zimbabwe Council of Churches conducted field day celebrations in Mwenezi ward 14 on 12/05/2023.Stakeholders present were the District Development Coordinator(DDC) and Agents for Agricultural Development Supervisors (AARDS).A total of 115 beneficiaries convened at a local homestead where Conservation Agriculture practices were being showcased.CA is a principle implemented by ZCC under the Scaling Up Livelihoods and Resilience Program (SURLP) with funding from Finish Evangelical Lutheran Ministries (Felm).Awards were given to outstanding farmers in the ward with bumper harvests.Despite drought in Mwenezi a number of farmers who used CA principle managed to harvest a reasonable yield.
