*Genesis 21:18-19*
_Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation. 'Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink._
*God gives assurance*
We all at one point in time have a desert experience. It appears as things are on the verge of collapse. At times we are not brave enough to keep watching. Our minds would have already pictured the end of it.
It is in times like these that God comes to give us assurance He has ordained us for greatness. It means we will not be swallowed by what surrounds us. He does that before He addresses our immediate need. Our eyes are opened to see what the Lord would have provided in our different circumstances. What a Great God.
*Prayer*
Lord speak to reassure us, in our different circumstances, our master and our friend. Amen.
