God Is In Charge

*1 John 4:4*

_[4] Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world._

*God is in charge.*

Satan has no power except that which God gives him. To the first century in Smyrna, Christ said “do not be afraid of what you about suffer. I tell you; the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer. But be faithful unto death and I will give you the crown of life.

If we analyze the words of Jesus for a minute, Christ informs the Church of the persecution, the duration of the persecution, the reason for the persecution (to test you), and the out outcome of the persecution, (a crown of life).

In other words, Jesus uses Satan to strengthen and fortify. His Church. We emerge stronger after temptations. Even if the devil seems to be winning, he is already defeated. God is in charge of everything. We are more than conquers.

*PRAYER POINT*

Lord help me to persevere in life, and to know that you are in charge. In Jesus Christ's Name.Amen.
