FEAR NOT

The fear of man is a dangerous trap, Proverbs 29:25

The greatest mistake you can make, is to be afraid of making a mistake. There are two benefits of failure. First: you learn what doesn't work. Second: it gives you the opportunity to try a new approach. Most of us think success and failure are direct opposites, but actually they are just two sides of the same coin.

Success is not necessarily permanent, and failure isn't necessarily fatal. Defeats are just installments on the way to victory. That is why John Maxwell writes, "Fail early, fail often, and always fail forward".

When you are making any major decision it's wise to consider all your options, then talk them over with the right people. Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great ones make you feel that you, too, can become great. Find people who are knowledgeable, especially those who have solved the same problem, succeed in the same area, and are willing to help you.

Remember that the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord. Psalm 37:23.

To God be the glory.
