_[17]Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day;_

*Jesus Christ the standard of life*

As believers of Christ, our way of life should be set according to biblical principles. We should not envy sinners because that envy will attach our hearts to ungodly living. What we envy, our hearts will continuously yearn for.  The moment we envy sin, we give the devil a foothold to enter our lives and take root. 

The heart must be set towards the cross and be filled with the word of God which is the word of life that attracts blessings.

*Prayer*

Oh Lord let my heart turn away from sin so that envy may not be my portion. Let my heart yearn for holiness so that blessings may follow me, Amen.
