_Matthew 5:23-24_
_[23]Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,[24]leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift._
*Seek reconciliation with brethren*
When you come to the house of God, you must come in the spirit of reflection. Your gift alone will not help you to be received by God, but a clean conscience will connect you to Him. Having an issue hanging over your head may affect your worship.
The Bible therefore urges us to reconcile with those who have something against us. It is not only him who seeks forgiveness who should seek reconciliation but also those who have been wronged.
*Prayer*
Help me Lord to reflect as I make my way to the place of worship. Bestow wisdom upon me to seek reconciliation with brethren so I may be accepted by you Lord, amen.
