The attitude and spirit of ungratefulness exists in every facet of life. Thousands
of men and women are not thankful for the way God made them, so they try to
change their physical features to try to make themselves more appealing to the
world. Many young people are not thankful for the life and energy that God has
given them, so they whittle away their time with slothfulness, purposelessness,
and foolishness. Still many more people are not thankful for their positions in
life so they try to move or change their position to what they think is better for
them. I have been in grocery store lines where cashiers and customers do not say
"thank you" to each other. Even some Christians are so busy trying to get to the
"next level" or get to their "destiny" in life that they do not take the time to thank
God for the place where He has them right now.
