The ZCC management comprising of the Director for the Humanitarian Services and Diakonia Department Ms. Maria T Dendere and the Team leader Mr. K. Nhongo visited a pioneer project at St Cathrines Anglican Church Rusape.
The church focuses on horticulture, producing tomatoes, onions and vegetables with a ready market being provided by the boarding school within the premises using the income of the first proceeds the church has to poultry production which is also doing well with a ready market as well.
ZCC continues to empower its member churches through the food hub. The ZCC food hub programme is promoting maximum utilization of church farms and other assets to improving agriculture production.
