Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) continues to compliment government's efforts in providing food to food insecure households in Mwenezi, Zvishavane and Gwanda districts.
From the 5th to the 8th of December 2023, the ZCC conducted food distributions to 720 households in Mwenezi, Zvishavane and Gwanda under the Food Assistance for Assets (FFA) project. The intervention will cushion households from food insecurity shocks while participating in rehabilitation of assets and cultivating their agriculture fields. The distributions were monitored by Maria Tendai Dendere, ZCC Director and Ruusa Otilia Gawaza, Climate Change Advisor from the Finish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (Felm). This program is funded by Felm.
