"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:7-8.
Trusting in the Lord!
This whole week we like to reflect on trusting in the Lord.
It is never easy to trust, especially when surrounded by challenging circumstances.
But however, trusting God is something we should learn to do everyday.
Those who trust Him for everything are referred to as an ever green tree.
They will never fear the scotching sun, even when there is drought, they will continue to bear fruits.
Like this tree, we should always send our roots to the streams where water is always available. God waters all those that hope in Him, satisfaction and peace are always upon them.
There are times when things doesn't come out as we wish, but this should never stop us from trusting the Lord.
We should continue trusting and bearing fruits.
Just think of so many times when we fear and fail to trust God for our well being.
"We live by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7
What we see with our eyes should never stop us from trusting.
"And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right." 2Thessalonians 3:13.
Have no worries and continue trusting the Lord!
Blessed week. - Salvationist online
