A Christian movie, grounded in real events and featuring Dennis Quaid, has surged to the top of Netflix's charts, claiming the coveted No. 1 spot and clinching a significant mainstream accolade.
Despite hitting theaters five months prior, the faith-based film "The Hill" continues to captivate audiences, recently climbing to No. 1 on Netflix's Top 10 movie chart in late January and maintaining a strong presence at No. 5 on Thursday.
The cast and crew of the movie, which premiered in theaters in late August before its Netflix release in January, are elated by its continued success. Director Jeff Celentano expressed his gratitude on Instagram, stating,
"No words! Netflix #1 movie in America! Crazy! Keep the thumbs up and we’ll stay awhile. Thank you all for your undying support!!"
