*Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.*
When we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, we should examine ourselves and acknowledge our fall. When we admit to our errors, we can begin to make amends and to rise again. God welcomes those who repent but frowns upon those who stay fallen. The Holy Spirit, the spirit of conviction will point us back to Christ so that we take the path of repentance and restitution.
*Prayer*
Lord I repent and submit my errors upon the altar of grace. Wash me cleand and lift me up once again and accept me back into your open arms.
